Before I danced, I was a design engineer, graphic designer, and director of an arts collective. Here are a few examples of my work from those years.

Poster for the Fall Ball, Cincinnati
Jim Tarbell (famous for his red beard) helped produce the ball, so I illustrated him dancing with Irene Castle. I painted them with watercolors, and the poster is entirely hand-lettered, another of my specialties.
